About Us

I retired from Corporate America in 2010 and decided that I wanted to continue to interact with people and not just sit at home. In July 2011, after attending several quilt shows and being in awe of the workmanship and creativity of quilters of all ages I decided to start my company "GG's Quilt Shop". I was a vendor at various Quilt Shows until 2016 when life changes caused me to stop traveling and I now have a physical shop located behind my home in Midlothian, Tx.

It appeared that there was no one place to go for wide quilt backs (1 piece, usually 108" by 108") and I wanted to try and fill that void while keeping prices reasonable. I have participated in numerous Quilt Events and, as a result, have made many life-long friends. I listen to my customers' wants and needs for their own quilting projects while learning quilting techniques from them to share with others.
